The Indi was an experimental robotic phone dock designed to help the hard of hearing to identify when a call comes in when their phone isn’t nearby. The arms on the side moved when a call comes in to signal to the user to answer.

It was created using 3D printed parts and common embedded components, and a demonstrable version was created in less then a month.

Although the device worked, the concept wasn’t market viable. The prototype that was created demonstrated this and led to a change in focus before too much time was spent on a non viable idea.
